Minimal Heat = Healthier Hair

I used to rely on heat styling a lot because it felt easier to manage my hair that way. Over time, though, I noticed my curls losing their pattern and my ends becoming more damaged.

I decided to cut back on heat, and it honestly made a huge difference. Now I mostly air dry or use a diffuser on low heat when I’m in a hurry. My curls have bounced back, and my hair feels much healthier.

When I do use heat, I make sure to use a heat protectant and keep the temperature as low as possible. I’ve learned that being careful with heat is key to maintaining healthy natural hair.

It took some adjustment, but embracing my natural texture has been worth it. My hair looks and feels better than it did when I was constantly using heat.
