Deep conditioning has become a non-negotiable part of my routine. I try to do it at least once a week, and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in how my hair feels and behaves.

Sometimes I sit under a hooded dryer for extra heat, but even just using a plastic cap works if I don’t have time. The heat really helps the conditioner penetrate my hair better, especially since my hair tends to be resistant to moisture.

After deep conditioning, my hair feels softer and more elastic. It’s easier to detangle, and I notice less breakage overall. Skipping it for a week or two definitely makes a difference in a negative way.

I’ve started rotating between moisturizing and protein treatments depending on what my hair needs. Finding that balance has helped keep my hair strong without making it feel stiff.
