Detangling used to be one of the most frustrating parts of my routine. I would lose so much hair, and it always felt like a struggle. Switching to finger detangling really changed things for me.
Now I take my time and gently work through knots with my fingers before going in with a wide-tooth comb. It definitely takes longer, but I’ve noticed a big reduction in breakage.
I always make sure my hair is damp and coated with conditioner when I detangle. Trying to detangle dry hair just doesn’t work for me and leads to unnecessary damage.
Being patient has made a big difference. My hair feels thicker and healthier now that I’m not ripping through it with tools.
